Our congregation is a place where hope, help and healing happen. We are servants of God, who through prayer, study, fellowship and
community building seek to empower and support one another, as well as our local and global community. We know that all hope, help and healing come from God, so we have provided some passages of Scripture to encourage you.

Hope, Help, Healing
Hope
Make your ways known to me, Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth—teach it to me— because you are the God who saves me. I put my hope in you all day long. Lord, remember your compassion and faithful love— they are forever! Psalm 25:4-6
But I have sure faith that I will experience the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! Hope in the Lord! Be strong! Let your heart take courage! Hope in the Lord! Psalm27:13-14
I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope. When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11-12
Don’t hesitate to be enthusiastic—be on fire in the Spirit as you serve the Lord! Be happy in your hope, stand your ground when you’re in trouble, and devote yourselves to prayer. Romans 12:11-13
Now we see a reflection in a mirror; then we will see face-to-face. Now I know partially, but then I will know completely in the same
way that I have been completely known. 13 Now faith, hope, and love remain—these three things—and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:12-13
Christ was chosen before the creation of the world, but was only revealed at the end of time. This was done for you, who through Christ are faithful to the God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory. So now, your faith and hope should rest in God. As you set yourselves apart by your obedience to the truth so that you might have genuine affection for your fellow believers, love each other deeply and earnestly.
1 Peter:20-22
Help
We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. Our heart rejoices in God because we trust his holy name. Psalm 33:19-21
The people who uphold justice, who always do what is right, are truly happy! Remember me, Lord, with the favor you show your people.
Visit me with your saving help so I can experience the good things your chosen ones experience, so I can rejoice in the joy of your nation,
so I can praise along with your possession. Psalm 106:3-5
[L]earn to do good. Seek justice: help the oppressed defend the orphan; plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17-18
Healing
I exalt you, Lord, because you pulled me up; you didn’t let my enemies celebrate over me. Lord, my God, I cried out to you for help, and you healed me. Lord, you brought me up from the grave, brought me back to life from among those going down to the pit. Psalm 30:1-3
The Lord said, “If you are careful to obey the Lord your God, do what God thinks is right, pay attention to his commandments, and keep all of his regulations, then I won’t bring on you any of the diseases that I brought on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.” Exodus 15:26
[I]f my people who belong to me will humbly pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Lord rebuilds Jerusalem, gathering up Israel’s exiles. God heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. God counts the stars by number, giving each one a name. Psalm 147:2-4
It was certainly our sickness that he carried, and our sufferings that he bore, but we thought him afflicted, struck down by God and tormented.
He was pierced because of our rebellions and crushed because of our crimes. He bore the punishment that made us whole; by his wounds we are healed. Like sheep we had all wandered away, each going its own way, but the Lord let fall on him all our crimes. Isaiah 53:4-6
Whenever you enter a city and its people welcome you, eat what they set before you. Heal the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘God’s kingdom has come upon you.’ Luke 8:8-10
Dear friend, I’m praying that all is well with you and that you enjoy good health in the same way that you prosper spiritually. 3 John 1:2
